Cancun Airport

There are strict import restrictions for plants and foods.  The entrainment is only allowed if there is demand as part of a special diet. To entry from the USA normally only a valid passport is required . But you get a tourist card (FMT) issued for the duration of your stay and it must be kept with you at all times. Public buses run regularly (more or less every 30 minutes) to the most important city center of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. There is along distance bus to Merida also.
